Meet Gilloo

Hi, I’m Shweta , also known as Gilloo, a nickname given by my parents that now lives through my art. I am the brain, brush, and occasional chaos behind the art that you see here.

I started Gilloo to make art more accessible, more relatable, and definitely more fun. Whether it’s a sticker, a print, or a quirky character that oddly resembles your best friend, each piece is made to connect, amuse, and maybe even make you say, “Yep, that’s me.”

My Journey

My journey with art didn’t start in an art studio — it began in a commerce classroom.
I completed my B.Com (Hons), but somewhere between balance sheets and business models, I realised my true calling wasn’t in numbers — it was in colours, textures, and stories.
So, I took a leap of faith and pursued a Bachelor’s in Sculpture from the Government College of Art, Chandigarh, where I learned to shape ideas with my hands.
That path eventually led me to Falmouth University in the UK, where I earned my MA in Illustration and found my voice in the world of digital art.
Today, I merge those worlds — the structure of commerce and the freedom of art — to create work that’s thoughtful, relatable, and deeply human.

Our Mission

At Gilloo, we believe art belongs everywhere — not just in fancy galleries but on your walls, your journals, and your daily scrolls. The goal? To make good art that doesn’t cost a fortune and still feels personal.
